Good evening,
We were informed that the gas company will be replacing the line that runs across the front entrance tomorrow from 8:30am-2:00pm. If you need to come to the school between this time, please park in the horseshoe parking lot off of Division Street Extension and ring the buzzer at the back door. We will be happy to assist you at this entrance. If you have a half day PreK student that leaves at 11:30am, please plan on picking them up at this back entrance as well (off of Division Street Ext). PreK students leaving at 2:15 can be picked up at their normal location, but please know you will most likely not be able to access the parking lot until 2:00. Students being dismissed at 3:00 will leave like normally do. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we try to help accommodate the workers updating the lines.

Good Evening Franklin Families,
This is a message from Mrs. Agee asking for your help in keeping our students safe. On Monday, September 9 we will be enforcing that cars cannot line up for 3:00 dismissal or park where it says no parking bus lane in front of the school before 2:40. Pre-k buses need access to park along the sidewalk to allow students to board buses without walking between cars. Pre-k families also need access to parking spots so that they can park and walk up to the classroom to pick up their child.
Remember that buses need to be first in the car pick up line. Buses pull out at 3:02 and we start calling students immediately after. We usually finish loading the last car at approximately 3:15. Thank you for helping keep our students safe. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Good evening Kindergarten Families,
Kindergarten class lists are posted on the front door. Remember we have a meet the teacher meeting at 8:00 am tomorrow, Friday. Please drop your student off with staff at the front door, so they can get breakfast, but wait until 8:00 to try to enter the building to go to your students class. This will allow us to get all the other students in the building and settled. Thank you for helping us with this matter!

Good evening Franklin Families,
Just a few reminders for our first day. Doors open at 7:30-8:00 for drop off at the front door. Students will report downstairs to the cafeteria for breakfast.
Students arriving after 8:00am are considered tardy and will need a parent or guardian to sign them into the office.
If you did not attend Open House, please send a note letting the teacher know how your student is getting home.
All students in K-3 MUST have an adult at the bus stop to get them off the bus. Please plan accordingly.
Dismissal for walkers will begin at 2:55 on the Division Street Ext side of the building. Parents will need to walk up to the doors to retrieve children. Car Riders Dismissal will start after buses pull out at 3:02. Please be patient with us on the first few days, it will get faster as everyone learns the routines. Car Riders please don't begin lining up until after 2:45 to help prevent backing up on Blizzard and to allow the buses to get through. Buses MUST be the first to go. Follow the loop around the back of the school and children will be loaded in your car.
Lunch Menu
Wednesday- Pepperoni Pizza
Thursday- Spaghetti and Meatsauce
Friday-Hotdogs
Can't wait to see all the students back tomorrow! Let's level up our academics, attendance, and character in 2024-2025.

We will have a brief Title I Opening Meeting at 4 in the gym. Not able to make it at 4? No problem! We will have various information tables set up in the gym to visit including a Title I table. Be sure to visit this table to learn about the importance of playing games with your student, fill out a brief survey and receive one game per family.
There was two teachers as listed as vacancy on our class lists. If this was your child's class the following teacher is your child's classroom.
2nd Grade-- Mary McCullough
1st Grade- Kelly Londeree
We want to welcome these two ladies to our staff!
Please remember Kindergarten and PreK will not be visiting their classrooms during Open House. Meet the Prek teachers at a table in the gym and Kindergarten teachers in the cafeteria.
