Mineral Wells Elementary School is located south of Parkersburg, West Virginia serving the growing, rural community of Mineral Wells, WV and surrounding areas. The current facility was built in 1975 to combine several area schools and features an open floor plan and newly renovated gym. Mineral Wells Elementary School provides a safe environment, which encourages parent and community involvement. The teaching staff is committed to providing student-centered instruction while instilling core values into the learning environment. The highly qualified staff includes a library/media specialist, two physical education teachers, a music specialist, a school counselor, and a full-time nurse. Mineral Wells School partners with Somerville Fabricating and First Settlement Physical Therapy to help promote career and college readiness. The Mineral Wells School Campus provides a home to many area programs, including academic, sporting, and community events making the school the heart of the community.
